MOBA Battle Royale Game
Hi, I'm Can Yilmaz (AKA Can Solo).
I'm a game developer who specialized on gameplay mechanics and game modes on Unreal Engine. My adventure has begun with the game called 'Armies of Exigo' at 2005. As an 8 year old boy, I always wanted to beat the bot on non-easy difficulty. But I had to overcome one and only obstruction between me and my destiny. Which is being very bad at RTS games...
I've almost lost my hope (about 2-3 hours later) and decided to call it a day and quit. While closing the computer, I saw a second executable file in game folder. It called 'MapEditor.exe'. In first sight, it was like bunch of blocks looks like a terrain and can be overwritten with different symbols on a rectangular area. After a long diagnotion process for my brain, I finally managed to create a playable level. It felt like being the god itself. Now -as a god- I had to aim to the top. Defeating the hardest bot. With generating new levels and taking notes of my mistakes, finally managed to defeat medium bot. Yeah, I wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed :/
But thanks to 'MapEditor.exe', I always looked for how to modify game assets. After many years of modding games, I met with 'CryEngine' and afterwards met with 'Unreal Engine'. They changed my perspective on games...
Presently, I like to play bunch of games just for understanding or making theories about how the game works. But in my spare time, I like to play games which has non-complex mechanics (see: Brawlhalla) for having fun without thinking about how its made.
